Tux is the new (not-so-little) kitty I'm fostering! He is absolutely gorgeous, with a black and white fur with leopard stripes prints. He is super affectionate with people (hardly a trait of a cat), and isn't aggressive at all. He suffers from anxiety whenever I so much as stand up in the room, and would shadow my every move just to be sure that I'm always in his sight. His previous foster family's mum said it's because Tux gets attached to people really quickly. I've never really been a cat-person and have never had experience with cats before but Tux makes it so easy! He is absolutely perfect for someone who would like to have a pet that is fairly low-maintanence and almost as sociable as a dog. Tux is also good for families with children as he lived with a four-year-old in his previous home.
Unfortunately, my two baby rats took a whiff of Tux's smell and have been in complete shock since. It's natural instinct because they sense a predator near. Ellen, who is usually really social and active, is now refusing to eat or even move out of her house. It's such a sad sight because she used to want to explore all the time. So for the sake of my babies, if you're living in Perth and would like to foster/adopt a cat, please drop me an email or comment! Or if you know of anybody who is interested in fostering/adopting a cat, pass the word on!
