You might all be wondering what I am doing home on a Saturday night (or not). Shocking I know. Well kids. Grandma just turned 23. She really doesn't have to energy to move so much now. It's sad really. She slips in and out of food comas so regularly now it's hard to have a decent conversation with her.
Had a pretty awesome birthday week. Got a couple of pictures for you!
Went to the Marmalade Pantry for the first time ever. Food was pretty damn delicious (I was hungry as well) so I was only mildly annoyed by the poor service.
Look at my horse loot! Yes, I am a horse freak. Love all the accessories from Rach & Hands. Please tilt your head sideways to have a look. I don't know why the photo came out in this direction.
MORE HORSES AHEAD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Meet Bibimbap. My horse from Sarah & Vette. I was ridiculously excited when they gave this to me. Was dragging it around town (because you can walk it like a real horse) and got a lot of unwanted attention from babies. Our agenda for that night was to have food then go party so I TOOK MY HORSE TO AVALON. Which is a pretty classy place. For a $60 entrance fee (don't worry I was on the VIP list *cough cough, so we didn't pay a cent) the place was no place for a balloon horse. In my defense, I did ask several people if there was a cloak room I could leave Bibimbap at. There wasn't. Much to my amusement I frightened a bouncer because he thought I brought my dog into the club. Bibimbap had an adventurous day for a balloon horse if you ask me.

Last Wednesday my Uncle took Mum and I to this place called Kilo. It's hidden away near Lavender. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Chezz, I'm bringing you here when you come back for a visit. The decor is very cool too. Reminds me of a Perth type cafe. I had rabbit for the first time! Was a bit hesitant because eating rabbit would be like eating Thumper. But it was soooo good (pictured above, please note it looks nothing like Thumper) I forgot all about Bambi's best friend.
This is a birthday present for myself! HAHA Bought tickets to Death Cab. Bit exciting. Nick kept going on about how I MUST see DCFC so ok.
Speaking of Nick. He bought me this mug for my birthday. I'll admit. I did squeal a little when I opened it. It's got horses & Mumford on it. Making a mental note now not to drink tea & stain the white.
Lastly! This is a public service announcement. If you haven't already heard! Next week is your last week to grab the McSpicy at $2.90! Best burger at Maccas if you ask me. Since it's a leap year you get an extra day to eat it as well. YUMMMEHH.
Happy burping,
Jazz
Definitely keen about going to the cafe you mentioned!
ReplyDeleteAnd, hahaha I love that you brought Bibimbap to the clubs, coolest horse ever!
