Hello, I Love You

I'd like to dedicate this post to showing my appreciation for all the love I've received this recent birthday.

Firstly, thank you to my family because without their support I wouldn't still be here in Perth. I think Mum and Dad did a pretty amazing job raising me up and in providing my sisters and I, to the best of their abilities, so that we may live comfortable lives. And I'm especially thankful that they are loving and not over-bearing, or over-protective parents and have always trusted in us to make our own decisions like mature adults.

A big thank you to Dris and S for driving all the way to get Portia home to me and for bringing me out for lunch at Beaufort Street Merchant! The food is absolutely divine, the atmosphere perfect; I'd say it's one of the many cafes you should visit when in Perth!

Thank you Jazz for the lovely birthday card, birthday post and all the beautiful words! I'm truly blessed to have an amazing friend in you! Lots of love from over the seas!

Thanks to all my lovely girls (I think you know who you are) for Portia and her home, she was the missing puzzle to this apartment!

Thanks to P for taking the day off work to spend it with me and for little Ellen who is fast-becoming the perfect mate for Portia, and for the lovely dinner. I was surprisingly impressed with the food at the Brass Monkey because I've only ever seen drunks walking in and out, so I've been quick to judge the book by its cover, expecting only oily fast pub food and not perfectly cooked medium rare rump steak! So if you're in Perth and looking for a relatively cheap and good place for food, check them out in Northbridge!

Last but not least, thank you for all the lovely birthday messages and greetings, every year I'm reminded of how truly blessed I am to have friends who would take time to write a little something on Facebook or send me a text. It's a small gesture but it definitely puts a smile on my face!

Lots of love and hugs and kisses,
Chezz

(P.S. Bear with me and my pixelated photos, I'm working on getting a better camera so that I can share the wonders of this world through beautiful pictures taken with proper lens, rather than my bashed up Blackberry camera..)
