Well in short, I went away to Europe for 2 months, had an absolute blast and am counting the days till I get to go back. In particular I've come to favour Berlin a lot, for various reasons (heehee) but mainly because it's such a beautiful place, filled with mad people and old stories.
I got sent this video and it's a really good depiction of how devasted Berlin was after the war. It's also a prime example of how an upper class British accent can make anything seem less harsh.
