AMMO

It's been a while since my last post here!

Only six weeks until we welcome our little man to this world, A and I are desperately trying to get things organised.. Or maybe just me, as my nesting instincts kick in and all I want to do is decorate the baby's nursery and clean the house, whilst A continues working on his boat in preparation for November's abalone fishing season.

Anyhow, I'll save the baby talk for another time. Here's a post to share the beautiful work of interior designer, Joyce Wang, on Hong Kong's AMMO cafe at the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre.

I'm absolutely in awe at the flawless execution of her design. The intricacy and attention to details, the blending of heritage and modern pieces together in such harmony is simply amazing. I couldn't take my eyes off the page when I chance upon a photo of AMMO bar on Scoop magazine over lunch and knew I had to share the beautiful images. It's such a clever use of copper as well, creating a luxurious, warm and cozy ambience but seems also to emphasize the historical significance of the location. I'm thinking this place is definitely worth a visit the next time I venture into Hong Kong!

Have a lovely week!
Chezza
