Back to the future

Guest post! Just thought I'd drop in on my lovely SMT girls before the year comes to a close and share some love. And to everyone else, how do you do.

So it's that time of year where we all start reflecting on days gone by. I've been trying to do some spring cleaning before the new year sees me hoarding up more junk again, and don't we all love that warm feeling of nostalgia when out of the dust and mess you chance upon precious old photos, recall good times? It always comes with that little wish to live and be in that moment once more. le sigh, IF ONLY.

Anyway, photographer Irina Werning's come close to reliving moments with her cool project titled Back To The Future. She takes an old photo and recreates the same scene with the same person many years later. The uncanny similarities between the photos is amazing, and looking through these, I'd love to think that not everything has to change with time and age.
