It's pretty cool. Basically it's a list that has been compiled by the website creators of all the artsy events happening in Singapore!
People are always ragging on Singapore's Arts scene (and ok, it is a far cry from Australia's) but at least we are trying! Things are picking up. Creating a culture takes ages and ages. Plus our culture is being eroded away.... but don't even get me started on that.
So if you are bored this weekend, go check out stuff to do. There are films/music concerts/festivals happening that you can occupy yourselves with!
Another website to check out is Cine65. For the great couch potatoes, you will be familiar with this competition because clips have been shown on our local channels. It's really a great platform for film makers to grow and I guess meet up with others who have the same passion. Singapore has never really been known for producing films, but again, props to the people who are trying.
I'm leaving you with a clip that I thought was appropriate because Chezz and I can relate to this. This seriously made me laugh.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Singapore produced films, there was a screening of Singapore short films at Perth's State Library the other day. S, Dris and I went for it! Some of the videos were really well-made and funny..

Yea, some of the videos were really amateurish. I think I could have done a better job at it and I'm not even a comms student..
